MEET ALEJANDRO
I’m Alejandro Chocron, born in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1980. I moved to Israel in 1997, carrying with me a lifelong fascination with plants and the natural world.
For more than six years, ceramics has given that love a new language. I work where clay, plants, and sculpture meet—creating handmade vessels, living bonsai compositions, and one-of-a-kind objects shaped by texture, color, and fire.
I’m also the happily married father of three wonderful teenagers and run an English-speaking kindergarten. Family, creativity, nature, and education are all part of the same story—and each finds its way into my work.
